Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend and part-time jobs. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her performance compared with other students at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva and it was released in the year 1992. The album was a massive success as well as sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The album is consisting of four tracks composed by Lennox. The E.P. This is the companion album to her album Now I Let you go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut self-released album.
